This is a picture of my daughters basketball team after they won the State Championships. I used the select tool and decreased the hue behind the team and increased the light on the team itself.

This is a picture at the VSO concert. I especially liked the cloud formation. I wish I had understood the rule of thirds at the time but still like formation.

I inverted the color on this one. I am not sure I like the outcome though it was a dramatic change and really highlighted the cloud swirl.

Using the same photo I changed the color. It really defines the cloud formation that drew me to taking the photo.

Landscape of VSO concert is rule of thirds: horizon is in bottom third, plus you've got nice framing on the left side w/ the tree. Love the BB one, although I might have cropped it tighter, especially on the bottom and a tiny bit on each side to accentuate the team rather than the environment they're in.
ReplyDeleteI guess I was thinking about putting the cloud swirl more in the right upper section. I am getting too caught up in the individual detail and not the overall which I liked.
ReplyDeleteI think the idea for what you did on the basket ball team was a good one. It puts more focus on them. I also think the picture of the concert was awesome. Lisa said what I was going to say. It is still rule of thirds. Everything has a nice balance. And I love the way it looks with the silhouettes of the people on the bottom of the picture how you framed it. It looks pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteI like how you have the background in black and white. It brings focus on to the players.
ReplyDeleteI like how you took the colors out of the crowd behind your daughter's basketball team. I definitely makes the team the focal point.
ReplyDeleteWow Bambi I really like your last three pictures especially because who would of thought all you would have to do was change the color and boom! You draw out that cloud formation in the middle there and you truly made a piece of art!
