I choose this angle despite bring slightly blurred but the close up really shows the texture of the petals. I also liked how the perfectly round outer shape is flawed by the one petal being bent towards the camera. I am working on clearer close up shots and how to better utilize the settings on my cameras to do so.

This was one of my favorite shots. I really liked the emotion, tone and feeling depicted in this photo.  The upwards shot gives a small flower a larger appearance and stance then those around it. This flower is actually smaller and it is almost lost within in the garden but this point of view changes all that.  The darker tone makes it seem cold and bleak in a way as it struggles to thrive and claim its place.
